CPM Development L.P. retained INTEGRITY DESIGN to provide architectural services for the shell design of the ‘Brentwood Professional Plaza’, a 30,000 square foot, 3-story medical office facility.
This included site design, building design, and the interior build-out of medical office tenant on the building’s ground floor.
The building design phase of this project was to include an analysis of economical structural systems which summarized with an exterior bearing wall structure and steel frame. In order to meet the tight budget requirements, a single wythe masonry wall was utilized for the projects exterior skin. A combination of ‘custom’ colored rough textured masonry units and smooth polished units helped create a dynamic facade for the facilities image. The patterning of these materials were successful in harmonizing with the local semi-urban con-text.
The interior design and build-out of the medical office located on the ground floor was for a very successful, growing, local medical practice. The medical office included fifteen exam rooms and specialist offices along with the practices’ supportive space functions. The upper floor spaces are leased to a local regional hospital, which provide sleep labs, MRI’s, X-Ray’s and other patient amenities. The cumulative project successfully functions as an all-in-one, one-stop medical facility.
